When cleaning workers are trained to follow the cleaning process, they learn to clean for health first, then appearance.
No one understands this more than a cleaning professional.
Janitors are not only cleaning professionals, they are health care professionals. Usually, janitorial workers receive very little formal training.
This can be detrimental not only to the cleanliness of a building, but to the health of its occupants.
This training provides a system to make the facility a clean, healthy environment.
We teach the fundamental skills of cleaning such as emptying wastebaskets, dusting and spot-cleaning - some of the most visible cleaning jobs in any facility. GMC TI reviews the daily maintenance procedures for resilient floors, illustrates the proper procedures for damp, spot, dust, and wet mopping. This class will be customized to accommodate the needs of the student and the referring agency. Please ask about special accommodations.
